Frequently Asked Questions

Yoga/Pilates/Barre Class Reservation Policy
We do not require advance registration, but it is strongly recommended if you’d like to ensure your spot in class. Payment is required in order to reserve your spot in class and/or on the waitlist. All reservations can be made up to two weeks in advance. All sales are final, and classes are non-refundable, non-exchangeable and non-transferable. A valid credit card must always be kept on file for membership. We are not responsible for any bank overdraft fees that may occur from late cancels/no shows or membership dues.
Yoga/Pilates/Barre Cancellation Policy
If you need to cancel your reservation, you may do so online at least 4 hours before the class begins without penalty. If you cancel less than 4 hours before the class begins or you are a no show, you will lose your class if on a class package, or you will be charged a $10 late cancel fee if you hold an unlimited membership.
Waitlist Policy
The waitlist closes 4 hours before the start of class. If a spot opens in the class more than 4 hours before class start time, you will receive an automatic email confirming you’ve been entered into the class. (*Note, once you’ve been entered into the class, the late cancel and no show policy is now in effect). If you do not want your spot in the class, please make sure you remove yourself from the waitlist so you are not automatically added).

The online wait list becomes void 4 hours prior to class. Any spots that open up less than 4 hours in advance are on a first come / first serve basis.

For the safety of our clients and to limit the disruption of classes, we only hold reservations until the start time of class. We may be able to allow late entry for up to 5 minutes after class has begun, at front desk discretion, space-permitting.

Is it OK to eat before class?
As with any moderate physical activity, it’s best to fuel up in advance. Try to eat two or three hours before class, but certainly have something to eat before class if you’re hungry. As you progress with your practice you will learn what is best for your body.
What Are the Studio Hours?
Each classroom opens 30 minutes before class begins and closes no later than 10 minutes after class ends. The studio itself closes 30 minutes after the last class has finished. Please arrive promptly for class, but especially the early AM classes as the door closes right at class start time.
What Amenities Do You Offer in the Studio?
Lockers and showers are available. Please remember to bring your own lock to safeguard your belongings as needed. You can also purchase a lock in the studio.

We provide complimentary towels to all clients upon request. You are strongly encouraged to bring (or purchase) your own mat. Mat rentals are available for $5.

To reduce plastic waste, please bring your own water bottle which you can refill in the studio. Essentia water is also available for purchase. Please have enough water with you during your practice.

Props, such as Pilates rings, weights, balls, blocks, bolsters, etc. are available. Please clean your props before and after use with the provided EPA wipes.

What Are Your COVID Protocols?
Mask use and vaccination is optional. Everybody is welcome in the studio. We use EPA approved and hospital-grade disinfectants to clean all surfaces including benches, floors, door handles, handrails, sink handles, toilet handles, electronics and other common surfaces. We have equipped each practice room with carbon, HEPA and UV-light air filters to clean and circulate the air. Hand sanitizer is conveniently available around the studio.
Do I need my own mat?
Yes, you will need a mat for all classes. Due to enhanced Covid cleaning, we strongly encourage you to bring your own mat. You may also purchase mats and other yoga props (such as blocks and straps) in our boutique. If you don’t have a mat, you may rent one at the studio for $5.
Can people under 18 come to class?
We welcome practitioners of all shapes and sizes; however, our classes are not necessarily designed for children. Under certain conditions, we may permit a child under the age of 16 to attend not-hot classes; please call the studio to inquire. Minors must have a signed parent/guardian release waiver on file to take a class unaccompanied.
What is the difference between class packages and unlimited membership?
A class package allows you to attend a fixed number of classes within a specific time-frame: either 5 or 10 classes total within 6 months of expiration. If you plan on attending twice or more per week, we highly recommend our Premium TYR membership. Membership allows you to take an unlimited number of classes each month, includes free mat storage, and offers special discounts on retail and workshops. All class card and membership options can be applied toward every class we offer.
Do you sell yoga gear/clothing?
We offer a wide selection of yoga clothing, props, mats, and other products for purchase.
What is the return/exchange policy for retail items?
Retail items may be returned/exchanged within 7 days of purchase (items must be in their original packaging, with tags attached). We provide only store credit for returned items.
